About Women Of Sales

This community began when I first started working in software sales at HubSpot. As part of the new-hire onboarding at HubSpot, we had to create a website using the HubSpot platform. I chose to start a blog where I would write about being in sales at a high-growth startup.

When I started in software sales in 2010, I didn’t see many women like me working in sales. I would use this blog to write about what I was learning daily on the job. It became a place where I could think about what happened that day on the job and hopefully share those lessons with others working in software sales. Slowly but surely, the blog morphed into a community on LinkedIn and Slack where women of all kinds of sales roles connect.

There is something so powerful about being around women who work in similar roles as yourself. The vision of this community has always been to provide women who work in sales with a place to connect. That mission and vision remain the same today. We are here to empower each other and provide our unique perspective of being in sales as women. The only thing that has changed since I started the community is that I am opening it up to women who work in sales in ALL INDUSTRIES. You can join the community if:

  1. You are a woman. :)

  2. You work in sales.

That’s it. Nothing else is required. You can work in any industry and any sales role.
